1.      Sarangapani Memorial Prize for Proficiency in Economics is awarded each year to the best III year student of the B.A., (ECO.) Class.

2.      Sarangapani Memorial Prize for Proficiency in Defence Studies is awarded each year to the best III year student of the B.A., (Def.) Class.

3.      Dr.Malcolm S.Adiseshiah Prize for Proficiency in History is awarded each year to the best III year student of the B.A.(History) Class.

4.      Special Prize of Proficiency in Tamil Literature is awarded to the best III Year student of the B.A., (Tamil Major) Class.

5.      Dr.Eric Rajadurai Prize for Proficiency in English Literature is awarded each year to the best III year student of the B.A., (English Major) Class.

6.      Principal Savarirayan Prize for Proficiency in Mathematics is awarded each year to the best III Year student of the B.Sc., (Maths) Class.

7.      Principal Jesurathinam Prize for Proficiency in Physics is awarded each year to the best III year student of the B.Sc., (Physics) Class.

8.      Principal Jesurathinam Prize for proficiency in Zoology is awarded each year to the best III year student of the B.Sc., (Zoology) Class.

9.      Dr. Malcolm S. Adiseshiah Prize for Proficiency in Chemistry is awarded each year to the best III Year Student of the B.Sc., (Chemistry) Class.

10.  Sarangapani Memorial Prize for Proficiency in Commerce is awarded each year to the best III year student of the B.Com. Class.

11.  Dr.Malcolm S. Adiseshiah Prize for Proficiency in Tamil is awarded each year to the best III year student of the B.A., B.Sc., and classes, on the basis of marks obtained in Tamil in the University Examination of the previous years.

12.  The Adiseshiah Memorial Gold Medal for Proficiency in English is awarded each year to the best student of the III Year B.A./B.Sc., class on the basis of marks obtained in English in the University Examination of the previous years.

13.  Principal Dr.M.J.John Prize (I) is awarded to the most outstanding student in the I M.Sc.(Maths) class.

14.  Principal Dr.M.J.John Prize (II) is awarded to the most outstanding student in the I B.Com. Class.

15.  The Sri.S. Radhakrishnan Prize (I) is awarded to the most outstanding student in the I M.Sc. (Maths) class.

16.  The Sri.S. Radhakrishnan Prize (II) is awarded to the most outstanding student in the II M.Sc. (Maths) class.

17.  Dr. K. Vaidyanatha Iyer Memorial Prize for Proficiency in Commerce optional subjects , is awarded to an Undergraduate and a Postgraduate student.

18.  The Roehloff Memorial Prize is awarded each year to the best Christian student studying Commerce.

19.  The Dr. John H. Pilet Prize is awarded each year to the most outstanding student in literary activities.

20.  Principal Dr. A.N. Gopal Prize is awarded to the best sportsman of the year.

21.  Rev. L. Hekhius Memorial award instituted by Mr.P.Kuppu Rao old Student (1923-24).

22.  The Van-zanta Wood Prize is awarded to the best all-rounder among the outgoing students.

23.  Thirumathi Pankajam Devarajan Memorial Prize for the best woman Christian student of the I year P.G.

24.  Thirumathi Pankajam Devarajan Memorial Prize for the best woman Christian student of the II year P.G. in Zoology.

25.  Late Smt. W.R. Lalitha W/o. Shri Ramamurthy Memorial Prize is awarded to the best out going student in UG and PG in Zoology.

26.  Dr. M.J. Sudarsanam Prize for the best student in the Department of Economics.

27.  Dr.P. Arunachalam Memorial Prize for Commerce U.G. (Eve).

28.  Mr.L.Christian Ernest Memorial Prize instituted by the Department of English to be awarded to a deserving II B.A., Branch XII English student.

29.  Prof.H.D. Stanley Endowment scholarship instituted by the Department of English to be awarded to an outgoing English major student based on: i) Performance in II year University Exams- 50% Weightage.  ii) Character and financial background 50% Weightage.

30.   Late Mr. N. Saravana Kumar (II B.Com.) Scholarship instituted by his father for a poor II B.Com. Student for purchase of books.

31.  Late Mr.I.B.Rajendran Memorial Prize instituted by Dr.R. Jayakaran Isaac, (former Principal) to be awarded to a student distinguished particularly in extra curricular activities.

32.  Late Mrs. & Mr. G. Williams Scholarship Endowment instituted by Dr. Cornellius Manoharan, (former H.O.D. of History) to be awarded to one poor Christian and one poor Non-Christian student of III B.A. History Class.

33.  Former Principal Dr.R. Jayakaran Isaac Scholarship instituted by him to be awarded to son/daughter/ward of the Non-teaching staff.

34.  Former Principal Dr. R. Jayakaran Isaac Scholarship instituted by him to be awarded to two deserving students, one Christian and one Non-Christian.

35.  Late Smt. A.N. Kannammal Sigamani (Rtd. H.M.) Memorial Prize (I) to the most deserving student form Chittoor (A.P.) and (II) Christian Student form Tamil Department instituted by Rev. S. Christopher.

36.  Bharathi Press Thiruvengadassamy & Kuppuram Prize in Accountancy instituted by the family members for the II B.Com. Student scoring the highest marks in Accountancy in I B.Com. University Examination (both Day & Evening combined).
